The Sony EX1 offers incredible picture quality in both HD and SD and allows the user complete control over focus, exposure, zoom and audio levels.
The external XLR inputs allows the camera operator to record clear and quality sound whilst the audio level meter displayed on the LCD makes it easy to avoid audio peaking.
The EX1 records to solid state SxS media cards. Our special offer is that we provide two 8GB SxS cards for free allowing the camera operator to record for a time of 56 minutes uninterrupted. (To maximize recording time the user can record to one card until it is full. Once the camera has begun recording to the second card the user can remove the first card, copy the data to their own hard drive and reformat the card once it is back in the camera).

For professional looking results, the EX1 is a must have.

SONY HDR SR1 £90/day.

The Sony HDR SR1 is compact, light and HD ready. With media recorded to the camera's internal hard drive file management could not be simpler. Port the footage from the camera to your computer's hard drive with the touch of a button.
This easy to use, ready to go cam-corder provides excellent results and its light weight is perfect for longer shoots.





FOSTEX FR2-LE FIELD RECORDING UNIT £25/day.

The FR2 is an external field recording unit that allows a mic operator greater freedom and mobility than if they were attched by an XLR to the camera. This can enable you to capture great sound without having to worry so much about the camera's proximity, allowing you to incorporate those beautiful panoramic shots in your project.

Supplied with the unit is a 4GB solid state memory card permitting recording up to 115 minutes of broadcast quality BWF 24bit 96kHz audio. Once the card is full, use the USB function on the FR2 to upload your audio files to a hard drive and then reformat the card.
